Special Notes All terms and conditions, as listed on the terms and conditions page of this website, shall apply to all sales, including absentee and telephone bids. Please read the Terms and Conditions page carefully. The bidder must acknowledge that the condition of the lot, as described to him/her by our staff, is strictly based on the opinion of our staff and no guarantees/warrantees are made or implied. Once the absentee bid is entered, the bidder thereby confirms that he/she accepts the given description, etc. as opinion, and is aware that he/she is bound to complete the purchase of the item in the event of a successful bid. *** A 15% Buyer's Premium shall be applied to the final bid price of all sales.*** Absentee Bidding If you are unable to attend our sale, we would be pleased to accept your absentee bids in strict confidence. To submit an absentee bid, please print out the absentee bid form on this site. Then complete the form and mail or fax to Roberson's Auctions (information listed on form). No E-mail bids will be accepted. You must call (845) 744-3388 to confirm your bid at least 24 hrs. prior to sale time. When you call to confirm you will be assigned a bidder number-- if you do not have a bidder number, your bid will not be executed! You will be asked for a Visa/Master Card/Discover Card number when you call (to be held on file in confirmation of your bid). Please have your card number ready.In the event a left bid is higher than competing bids in the auction hall, the left bid will win the item at the next bidding increment, not necessarily the full amount of the bid. Roberson's Auctions and it's staff do their best to execute each and every bid, but we will not held responsible for any non-execution of any absentee bid. Telephone Bidding We would also be happy to accept your telephone bid, provided arrangements are made prior to 9am on sale day and sufficient phone lines are still available. No bids will be accepted after 9 am. We strongly suggest arrangements for bidding by telephone be made as early as possible, preferably 24 hrs. prior to sale. We make every attempt to reach the bidder at the time allocated, if for any reason the bidder can not be reached, we will not be held responsible for non-execution. ** Only telephone or in-person absentee bids will be accepted the day of sale.** **All day of sale bids must be submitted prior to 9 am** Successful Bids/Payment Terms If your bid is successful, you will be notified the next day, unless we can not reach you by phone. You may have the item charged to your credit card or make payment by personal check or certified funds within five days of notification. If paying by personal check for the first time, the merchandise will be held until the check clears. Please note that if your bid is successful you are legally responsible to make payment according to the terms set forth here. If timely payment is not made, legal proceedings may result and no future bids will be accepted. Shipping Packaging and handling of purchased lots is at the risk and expense of the purchaser. As a service to the purchaser, Roberson's Auctions will arrange for packing, shipping and insurance with a local shipping/packaging agent. All expenses incurred must be paid for by the purchaser. We will not be held responsible for choosing a shipper in the event of any act and/or omissions in packing. We do not assume responsibility for damages. We wish you the best of luck! Happy bidding!
